From renting canoes, renting pontoons, to finally bringing up our own boat, being able to venture the entirety of the lake we look out into and the adjoining river has added so much to our yearly cottaging adventure.

Captain’s Log – Day 1
The end of July marks our yearly camping trip north-bound. It’s the first time we have had two major trips in one year but 8 years in, this is something we all can’t imagine missing – 14 days of nature’s bliss.

Last Minute Larry
It was the day before we leave for vacation. I had already booked the day off and good thing, because I tend to leave the bulk of the holiday planning to the last 24 hours. Maybe next year I’ll finally be prepared a week in advance.

The Diplomat
Mid-day walks with our dog during COVID were a life saver because otherwise, we weren’t allowed to be out. Crazy to think back. I caught this photo during those travels which ironically reminded me of one of my favorite shows, The Walking Dead.
