The Time For Worry

We figure we probably had Norovirus last week based on our symptoms, so when a few things on my bloodwork looked off when I checked the results online, I queried to see if this could have been becaus I was sick and it could very well be. I was certainly dehydrated and the with little left in my tummy but acids, there are many reasons lab results would have been off.

I waited all weekend to check this. I know from last time I had bloodwork that a flag doesn’t necessary mean anything. Especially when it’s a collection of results that make a case for something concerning. My doctor does want to see me in a few weeks where I am sure she will order follow-up tests.

This was the first day in almost a week that I picked up the girls and all of their friends. It’s nice to have a van load again. I made 5 separate drop-offs this afternoon before making our way home.

For dinner, I looked through the cupboard, fridge, and freezer to see what we had. Tara had bought a package of chicken strips last week, we had frozen broccoli, and there were still nacho chips leftover from the night of the failed dip. I made a broccoli recipe from the air fryer cookbook, and then baked the nachos in the oven. When the brocoli was done, I scattered them it on top of the nacho chips, shredded cheese, and chicken mix. It was tasty. I would use fresh broccoli next time though.

After dinner, it was New Amsterdam time. Roo likes to walk all over my head and shoulders when I’m on the couch, or she will just sit on the armrest and watch the television. but today we enjoyed a few moments of cuddling. To be honest, I had also fallen asleep so perhaps that’s the trick. She sees you sawing logs, and knows it’s okay to do the same.
