Locked Out

I was sitting having coffee this morning at my desk, working on the Year in Review poster, and the Blogroll Google Sheet for the site was up on the other screen. My wife walked in at that moment, smiled, and stated ‘Of course you have a spreadsheet for your writing.’

I’ve talked about the spreadsheet before. It’s evolved since I first mentioned it. There is also the Google Doc where all of my stories are drafted, and then copied to the blog. I backup these files to my harddrive from time-to-time too so if something should ever happen to the Google files, my family will always have access to these materials.

The poster is finished. I made a few tweaks on it a few moments ago, so I’m ready to pen that final project post now.

I went to the boat today to see if I could get a cover on the propeller shaft to keep the snow out when it finally starts to fall. I watched a video on how to manually bypass the trim but the damn motor is too heavy to lift myself so now it’s even closer to the ground.

I went to the trailer to put away a few things and bring back some tools, but when I got there I couldn’t get into the RV where the keys are to the sheds where the tools were. The lock has a code, but apparently it was locked down extra tight for the winter, meaning I needed the key which Tara has somewhere here at home. I got the cover off of the barbecue tent while I was there, anyway.

I started patching up Abby’s ceiling today also, in preparation for doing some work in her room. More on that project this week.
