The 10:37 Wall of Nothingness

I should keep a notepad handy. All of the ideas I had are beyond the 10:37 PM wall of nothingness.

What happened today? Maybe that will jog my memory?

It was a busy day at work. I’m very satisfied with a couple of today’s accomplishments so there is that. I was able to be technical for the past two few days and this afternoon, the process was completed and the final product handed off to the requester.

I love these tasks. They break the routine and I am at my best when my mind is challenged like this. If I can’t solve an issue it drives me bonker’s, but I usually do so I’d say the pros outwit the cons.

The girls were all home early today, including the tall clumsy one who wants to play ball all day. She was advertised as a gentle beast who sleeps most of the day but I’m here to tell her she’s both feisty and playful. I’m already pondering hiding the ball.

It’s exam time for the girls. These are the first tests of this magnitude that they have done because of COVID. Imagine being in grade 11 and having never taken an exam?

My wife was off today. That was nice because these weekdays are few and far between after having had her home with me for the better part of two years.

My eldest has spent the evening with a dear friend who she hasn’t saw in awhile. There is so much joy in hearing them giggling in Emma’s room.

I am back from two dog walks and one of my cats is purring while staring at me lovingly while stretching out on my desk.

I am not sure what my ideas were, but all that happened anyway.
