– Con’d –
Your executive team is back in action, preparing for another season. We are doing our annual review of the rules, our first registration day is in February, and an important item on the agenda is seeking to increase the number of volunteers to ensure a smooth experience for our families – and maybe a day off and some peace of mind for our senior executive members – knowing that there are many members of our community who are ready to jump in with both feet to help out.
Whether you are willing to flip burgers on a Tuesday night or you’re ready to throw on a coaching jersey, we’d love to have you as part of our association beyond being your child’s biggest booster, if you have a couple of hours to give each week.
Thank you for your interest in helping keep this tradition alive.
– End Draft –
That feels good. I mentioned that I would do this at our November meeting but often when I don’t know where to start, I putt the task off. It will need work, but I can send the team a draft and ask if there is anything else they would like to ad.
I often over-complicate things as well. Not to diminish the importance of our baseball league, but it’s not an article for The Times. It’s a letter to parents. Although, it could be a post for our local community blogs?
On a side note, I used my new-to-me snow blower for the first time today and nobody was injured in the ordeal. Well, I did have to apologize to our neighbour. The lid to his garbage can was buried in the snow and well, I learned that the machine will auto shut off when it starts to mangle something in it’s grinding blades.
